Rafael Bautista And Adrian Sanchez Called Up, Matt Reynolds Sent Down

6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Rafael Bautista and infielder Adrian Sanchez have been called up from Triple-A Syracuse, and infielder Matt Reynolds has been sent down. Relief pitcher Shawn Kelley (elbow) was placed on the 10-day disabled list in a corresponding move. Bautista was recently named the International League Player of the Week and batted .429 with a .966 OPS and three steals in 10 games. His call-up indicates that Adam Eaton won't likely be ready to be activated from the DL before the conclusion of the road trip in San Francisco on Wednesday. Sanchez has a .760 OPS with one home run and two stolen bases in the minors so far this year. Neither is fantasy relevant for now.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
