3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers enjoyed yet another quality season at the plate in 2021, further cementing himself as one of fantasy baseball's best at his position, alongside the likes of Jose Ramirez and Manny Machado. The 25-year-old hit .279 with a .352 on-base percentage, 38 home runs and five stolen bases in 664 plate appearances. What's more, he turned in a 9.3% walk rate and a 21.5% strikeout rate. The walk rate represented a new career-high for Devers, while the strikeout rate was the second-lowest of his career. Fantasy managers who miss out on Ramirez in drafts and want to select a third baseman early should consider the Red Sox slugger.
