6 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a single and a double in the Sox's win over the A’s on Monday. Devers is still looking for his first home run, however, and is flying under the radar, as he is hitting consistently (.296/.389/.367) for an underperforming Red Sox lineup. The more impressive thing to note is how he’s hitting lefties at a clip of .290/.313/.355, which had been a concern in 2018 with a slash line of .229/.272/.347 against them. The Red Sox's aggressiveness on the base paths has also earned him four steals so far. If he can start getting the barrel on the ball, the home runs will come. If an owner in your league is willing to sell low, now would be a good time to buy in as the Red Sox start to heat up.--Zach Alexander
