3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers went deep off of Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Vince Velasquez on Friday, bringing his home run total for the season to 23. The solo shot was his only hit in three at-bats, and he also walked twice. Devers has been superlative all year, deservedly earning his place in the all-star game's starting lineup, and he's been even better over his last 15 games with a .327/.422/.600 slash line with four home runs and 14 RBI. Batting behind Alex Verdugo, J.D. Martinez, and Xander Bogaerts, those RBI totals will surely continue to climb, making him a major boon to fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
