6 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers put the Red Sox ahead in the first inning with a three-run homer on Friday night. Despite this being his first home run of the year, Devers has been very consistent lately. He has a .356 batting average and .434 on-base percentage in the last two weeks with eight runs, one homer, 10 RBI, and two steals. This brings his slash line to .298/.382/.395 on the season through 33 games. He’s even having some success against lefties with a .273 batting average in 33 at-bats. He is possibly a buy-low candidate and now is the time to inquire before the power picks up. The Red Sox should see mainly right-handed pitching next week in hitter-friendly Camden Yards and Fenway Park.--Zach Alexander
