4 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Rafael Dolis coughed up the team's 7-5 lead in the ninth as the club went on to lose 8-7 to the Red Sox on Thursday. The right-hander surrendered a pair of singles to start the frame before serving up a two-out, two-run homer off the bat of J.D. Martinez for his first blown save of the season. It was a disappointing ending for the Jays after Tyler Chatwood and Jordan Romano both worked perfect innings in the seventh and eighth to protect their two-run lead at the time. There will undoubtedly be better days ahead for Dolis, but it's likely we see both him and Romano receiving the save chances moving forward.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
