4 years agoToronto Blue Jays hurler Rafael Dolis (back) is expected to help fill in some of the high-leverage innings that need to be covered in the wake of Kirby Yates' Tommy John surgery. Dolis has been slowed this spring by back spasms and has thrown in just three official spring games but he's been pitching on the backfields for the past two weeks and isn't expected to miss any time, according to manager Charlie Montoyo. Last season, after returning from pitching in Japan, Dolis generated a 30% strikeout rate and a 50% ground-ball rate for the Jays. In 24 games, he recorded five saves and seven holds. Jordan Romano, Ryan Borucki, and Tyler Chatwood could also see high-leverage situations.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
