Rafael Montero Gives Up Four Runs
4 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Rafael Montero entered Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros to protect a two-run lead, and by the time his line was finished, the Mariners were trailing by two. Over 2/3 of an inning, Montero allowed four runs (only two of which were earned) on three hits and a walk. He certainly wasn't helped by an untimely Evan White throwing error, but this is yet another rocky appearance for the former closer. Montero has lost that job, and can be safely dropped in all fantasy leagues that don't credit holds.
