6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (forearm) will be placed on Injured Reserve after having surgery on his fractured right forearm on Friday. Mostert suffered a gruesome forearm break in the blowout win over the Raiders on Thursday night. It's a shame, too, as he was seeing more work in the backfield at the expense of Alfred Morris. Mostert will finish the year with 34 carries for 261 yards (7.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Matt Breida and Morris will now split the backfield workload moving forward. Morris is worth picking up again in the leagues where he was dropped.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
