4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (knee) may have suffered an MCL sprain in the team's Week 2 win over the Jets. The team is not certain until further tests are conducted, but at any rate, they'll be without their best back for at least the near future. It's a shame because Mostert had gotten off to a fast start with over 100 scrimmage yards and touchdown in his first two games. If Mostert is out for an extended period, expect fellow backs Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon to pick up the slack, with the forgotten Jeff Wilson Jr. potentially stealing a goal-line score or two.--Tim Capurso
