3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (knee) is making a full recovery and will be ready to play this season, according to his agent, Brett Tessler. Mostert underwent tests this week in Dallas with Dr. Dan Cooper after suffering a cartilage injury in his knee early in 2021. He played in just one game last year before going down, carrying the ball only two times for 20 yards in the season-opener. The 29-year-old will become a free agent next week, but most teams may be hesitant to sign him after he's played in only nine games in the last two years because of injuries. Rookie Elijah Mitchell stepped up after Mostert's injury and became the true workhorse back, so it's unclear exactly what Mostert's role would be if he re-signs with the 49ers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
