7 years agoThe Oakland Raiders acquired wide receiver Ryan Switzer from the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday in exchange for defensive tackle Jihad Ward. The Cowboys could afford to trade Switzer after drafting Michael Gallup and trading for Tavon Austin on Saturday. Switzer mostly starred on special teams in his rookie season, catching just six passes for 41 yards. In Oakland, he'll move to a team that is much more stacked at the receiver position, so he'll likely be more of a special teams asset for a second straight year. Back in Dallas, Switzer's departure is good news for slot man Cole Beasley.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
