Raiders Defense Allows 32 Points
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders defense allowed 32 points in a Sunday win against the Chiefs. After allowing 24 points in the first half, the Raiders buckled down and allowed just eight second half points. They were able to sack Patrick Mahomes three times and force one interception. Mahomes also completed just over 50 percent of his throws, which is certainly not what we have become accustomed to seeing. The defense allowing 32 points was not quite indicative of how well they played as a whole. With this being said, they are not a starting defense going forward. They have now allowed 30 points in four of five games and do not have a consistent pass rush. They face a Buccaneers offense in Week 7 that is loaded with weapons, so it will be a difficult day for the Raiders defense.
