Raiders Defense Gets Seven Players Off COVID-19/Reserve List
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders defense is in for a challenging matchup in Week 11 for reasons beyond facing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. With 10 players having gone on the COVID-19/reserve list due to defensive end Clelin Ferrell's positive test, seven were added back to the active roster Saturday, paving the way for them to take the field so long as they test negative for the virus Sunday. The group consists of: defensive tackles Maliek Collins, Johnathan Hankins, Kendal Vickers; defensive end Arden Key; and defensive backs LaMarcus Joyner, Johnathan Abram, and Isaiah Johnson, all of whom should contribute against the high-octane Chiefs. Irrespective of how many players are ultimately added back to the roster in time for kickoff, the Raiders defense can be firmly avoided in all season-long scenarios.
