4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Maurice Hurst was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list Tuesday, a move that will undoubtedly draw interest to the organization in the coming days. Hurst played in a season-high 57 percent of the team’s defensive snaps Sunday versus Buffalo, compiling two tackles. Having appeared in all four games this year, Hurst has 13 tackles, four quarterback hits and half a sack to his credit. While his loss will be primarily a depth problem for the Raiders defense, whether or not he is the only member of the Las Vegas roster to test positive for COVID-19 will likely determine the team’s ability to play Sunday against the Chiefs. Check back for any updates on both Hurst and Vegas’ outlook.--Jesse Borek
