3 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders will designate defensive end Carl Nassib as a post-June 1 release, which will save the team $8 million against the 2022 salary cap, according to a source. Nassib is now free to sign with another team. The 28-year-old former third-round pick in 2016 of the Cleveland Browns was with the Raiders the last two seasons. He had a combined 33 solo tackles, eight tackles for loss, 13 QB hits, four sacks, one interception, five passes defensed and a forced fumble in 27 games (five starts) in 2020 and 2021 for the Raiders. In his six NFL seasons, Nassib has 164 total tackles (113 solo) and 22 sacks in 86 games (37 starts) with the Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Raiders.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
