3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia (toe) was activated from the injured list and will bat seventh on Monday against A.J. Alexy and the Texas Rangers. The 27-year-old, who has been sidelined since August 8 with a right big toe injury, previously batted leadoff but will bat down the lineup since Connor Joe has been so solid in the leadoff spot in his absence. In his seven games prior to injury, Tapia hit .333/.333/.407 with two RBI, three stolen bases, and four runs scored on nine hits. Joe, who will play first base on Monday, is hitting .261/.406/.478 in his last seven with one home run, seven RBI, five stolen bases, and six runs scored on six hits.--Chelena Goldman
