3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two runs scored, and a walk in a 7-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday. Tapia broke the game open in the bottom of the second inning when he took Seth Frankoff deep for a two-run blast to put the Rockies up 5-0. It was his only hit of the contest but he would also draw a walk and score in the seventh inning. The 27-year-old outfielder is now slashing .277/.241/.400 with five home runs, 24 RBI, and five stolen bases across 155 at-bats. His previous career-high in home runs is nine, which he set back in 2019. He's on pace to crush that mark as we're not even a third of the way through the season yet.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
