3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 2-for-4 with a run scored, two doubles, and a strikeout in a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Tapia got things going for the Rockies in the bottom of the first inning when he doubled off Alec Mills and came around to score off a Brendan Rodgers two-bagger. He would double again later in the contest as well. The 27-year-old outfielder has been rock-solid over the last 15 games, going 17-for-55 (.309/.371/.382) with six stolen bases and five RBI. On the season, he's slashing .290/.342/.392 with five home runs, 44 RBI, and a career-best 19 thefts across 383 at-bats. The power hasn't really been there for Tapia but the stolen bases have been a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
