3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Raimel Tapia is starting in left field and batting eighth in his team's debut Saturday against the Texas Rangers. Toronto acquired Tapia and minor league infielder Adrian Pinto from the Colorado Rockies during Spring Training. He slashed .273/.327/.372 with six homers, 50 RBI, a career-high 20 steals and 69 runs scored in 133 games in 2021. Tapia figures to sit against most lefties and will have a tough time cracking the starting lineup with a loaded Blue Jays outfield, including George Springer, Lourdes Gurriel, and Teoscar Hernandez. Fantasy managers with daily moves can use Tapia as a streamer in a projected high-scoring affair (nine-run over/under) in Saturday's slate.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
