Raimel Tapia Reaches Four Times In Defeat
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, two RBI, and a stolen base in an 8-7 loss to the Angels on Wednesday. Tapia had a monster day at the dish for the Rockies. He picked up both of his RBI when he swatted a two-run double off of Steve Cishek in the seventh inning. He hit another double earlier in the contest, scored two runs, and swiped his 19th bag. The 27-year-old outfielder has been a solid fantasy contributor this year, slashing .285/.340/.386 to go along with five home runs, 43 RBI, and 19 stolen bases over 365 at-bats. The lack of home runs is a little underwhelming but he's made up for it with a career-best 19 steals so far.
