Raimel Tapia Reaches Base Twice And Scores In Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a strikeout in a 7-2 lopsided loss to the San Francisco Giants. Tapia got the things going for Colorado in the bottom of the first inning with a single and a run scored. They would go on to score two runs in the opening frame but would get shut out the rest of the way. Tapia has largely struggled at the plate since getting activated from the IL in late August. Overall, he's slashing .274/.328/.372 with six home runs, 49 RBI, and 20 stolen bases over 457 at-bats. The home runs and stolen bases are both career bests for the 27-year-old.
