4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia was a late scratch for Wednesday’s contest against Arizona due to a right elbow contusion. Sam Hilliard will replace Tapia in the starting nine with Garrett Hampson sliding up to the leadoff spot, giving him considerable DFS appeal against southpaw Robbie Ray. Tapia has honed his eye at the dish as of late, having compiled a .485 on-base percentage over his last seven games. But having produced just two extra-base hits in his first 22 contests, Tapia has little season-long intrigue. His next chance to return to the lineup comes Thursday versus the D-backs and righty Zac Gallen.--Jesse Borek
