Raisel Iglesias Blows Save Monday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias allowed a two-run, walk-off homer to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, resulting in his first blown save of the season. Iglesias did not record an out in the game. The veteran closer is off to a shaky start this year, posting a 0-3 record and 6.75 ERA with just two saves. There have been no indications that his ninth-inning job is in danger but if he doesn't start pitching better soon, he may force Cincinnati to seek out a different option to save games. David Hernandez or Robert Stephenson could possibly be next in line to close if a change is made.
