6 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias earned his 17th save of the season in Friday's 3-2 win against the Cubs. Iglesias entered the game in the eighth inning up two runs with one out and runners on first and third. A run scored on a sacrifice fly but Iglesias was able to get out of the inning with a one-run lead. He secured that lead through the ninth inning for a final stat line of no runs allowed on one hit and no walks with no strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings. He now has converted 17 of 20 save opportunities with a 2.52 ERA, 42 strikeouts and 14 walks in 39 1/3 IP. Iglesias remains a strong fantasy option as the Reds closer.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
