Raisel Iglesias Earns Second Save
7 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias nailed down his second save of the season on Saturday, preserving a 7-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth, allowing one hit and striking out one to earn the save. The Reds have won just two games in the early going this season with Iglesias earning the save in each of the two wins. On the season, Iglesias has a 2.70 ERA, two saves, and five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings of work. His high strikeout upside should offset the lack of save chances he will see with the Reds this season.
