Raisel Iglesias Nails Down Sixth Save
6 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias got the final five outs of a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday to earn his sixth save of the season. Iglesias struck out two and walked one in the scoreless outing. Iglesias got off to a rough start this season but hasn't allowed a run in his last 5 2/3 innings of work, solidifying his grip on the ninth-inning role after the shaky start to the year. Overall, the closer has a 0-3 record, 3.65 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings of work. He just needs more frequent save chances to be considered an elite fantasy closer.
