7 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias picked up his eighth save of the season on Wednesday in a 6-3 win over the Giants. Iglesias gave up a leadoff single to start the ninth inning but proceeded to induce a popup and get two consecutive strikeouts to end the game. Iglesias has now converted eight of nine save opportunities with a 1.31 ERA, 25 strikeouts, and eight walks in 20 2/3 innings pitched. Iglesias remains a high-end fantasy option at closer despite playing for a team that doesn't provide many save opportunities.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
