4 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias locked down his ninth save of the season as the Angels beat the A's 4-2 on Sunday. Iglesias struck out two batters and now has eight punch-outs over his last five innings pitched. It has been a bit of bumpy season for the talented reliever but is posting an impressive 0.63 WHIP and a 2.25 ERA over his last seven appearances. After posting a 6.00 ERA in the month of April, Iglesias has bounced back with a 1.00 WHIP, a 3.00 ERA and 17 strikeouts through 12 innings pitched in May. He may be turning the corner on the mound but could struggle to see consistent save opportunities playing for an Angels team ravaged by injuries on offense.--Joey C - RotoBaller
