Raisel Iglesias Strikes Out The Side For His Third Save
6 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias struck out the side to earn his third save of the season, preserving a 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Thursday. The scoreless inning brings Iglesias' ERA down to 5.87 with a 1.70 WHIP, 11 strikeouts, and three saves in 7 2/3 innings of work. Iglesias has had some rough outings in the early going but he remains the team's preferred option in the ninth inning. He has as much strikeout upside as any closer in the league, all his fantasy owners need is for the Reds to start handing him more leads to protect in the ninth inning.
