3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (hip) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a strained right hip, according to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. The move is retroactive to May 28, as Laureano has been out since Thursday with what was originally reported to be groin tightness. While Laureano has been sidelined, Mark Canha has slid over to start in center, and the Athletics added to their outfield depth by recalling outfielder Skye Bolt from Triple-A. Managers will hope that Laureano is not out for a lengthy period of time, as he is slashing .257/.332/.503 with 11 home runs, eight steals, 22 RBI and 30 runs scored this season.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
