Ramon Laureano Running Wild To Start The Season
4 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano stole two bases in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers to bring his steal total up to four in the early going. In the A's first win of 2021, Laureano was the spark the offense needed, stealing second and third base before scoring on a wild pitch to help force the game to extra innings. It seems the 26-year-old has the green light to run whenever he's on base, which would bode well for his fantasy value. Laureano has batted second or third in all four games played and has stuffed the stat sheet with three runs, two RBI and four steals. He's yet to homer on the season but is averaging a whopping 112.1 mph average exit velocity and has yet to strike out. Laureano is locked in to start the season and should be rostered in all leagues ahead of a weekend series in Houston.
