3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams hired TCU running backs coach/assistant head coach Ra'Shaad Samples as their new running backs coach. Assistant head coach Thomas Brown will now coach the team's tight ends, according to a league source. Samples was previously the assistant head coach at SMU after working as an offensive assistant. Brown is replacing Wes Phillips in that role after Phillips left to become the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings. Samples played wide receiver at Oklahoma State and Houston in college. He'll be working closely with Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr., who are expected to lead a one-two punch in the backfield in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
