Rams To Have Three-Back Rotation In Super Bowl?
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay thinks that running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (knee) will play in the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. "I think Darrell's going to go. So, you'll have Cam Akers, Darrell and Sony Michel. You'll be able to see a good, three-back rotation, based on how the game unfolds," McVay said. Henderson was the Rams primary back for the majority of the regular season, but he suffered an MCL sprain in Week 16 and hasn't played since, so it's fair to wonder how much he'll be able to play after the injury layoff. But it sounds as though the 24-year-old will see some offensive snaps, which could limit the fantasy ceiling of both Akers and Michel in the big game.
