Randal Grichuk Drives In Five Versus Athletics
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk kept his torrid start to the season going on Thursday, driving in five runs in the club's 10-4 win over the Athletics. He took starter Mike Fiers deep in the third inning for a three-run shot before cashing in a pair on a double in the sixth as he finished the game going 2-for-5. Grichuk has recorded a hit in eight of his last nine games which has seen his average rise to a crisp .306 to go along with six homers, 15 runs, and 26 RBI. The 29-year-old is proving his stellar campaign during the shortened season was no fluke and he should be rostered in all formats.
