3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk had a nice day at the plate on Friday, going 3-for-5 in the team's 11-2 win over the Indians. The game was cut short due to rain, but the damage was already done as the 30-year-old swatted a pair of doubles and scored three runs in the contest. Grichuk also cashed in his 38th RBI of the campaign as he continues to fill up the counting stats batting fifth in the Jays lineup. There were doubts in the preseason about Grichuk playing everyday, but he's proven he belongs on the field with a .286 BA, .806 OPS, and nine homers through 50 games.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
