Randal Grichuk Joins Home Run Parade
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk slugged his first homer of the season during the team’s 12-4 win over the Rays on Friday. His solo shot in the sixth inning was one of six long balls hit by the club as Sahlen Field in Buffalo continues to play as a hitter-friendly park. Grichuk has had a slow start to his 2020 campaign after suffering a minor back injury in late-July. He’s now hit safely in five of six games, perhaps hinting that any lingering issues are behind him. Owners shouldn’t feel obligated to hold onto his bat in shallow leagues since he’s been pushed down the order to the seventh spot, but there’s still power potential in his bat.
