4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk slugged his eighth homer of the season during the team's 9-1 victory over the Red Sox on Wednesday. His shot in the first inning was of the solo variety as he finished the evening going 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI. Grichuk is up to a .307/.346/.594 slash line on the year with all eight of his long balls coming within the last two weeks. It's hard to see his home run pace continue at this rate, but after cranking out 31 dingers a year ago, we can expect sturdy power numbers the rest of the way.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
