Randall Cobb Fitting Right Into Old Surroundings
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has quickly gotten comfortable as a new member of the team that originally drafted him. Cobb was traded from the Texans back to the Packers and many reports indicate it was at the request of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Wide receivers coach Jason Vrable has been impressed, telling reporters, "The last two weeks he's grinded. I'm talking about work. He's the first one in and been studying the playbook with me an extra hour, and then doing special teams getting some more time, and then he would stay late and be with Aaron. So in about two weeks he's pretty much got caught up with the playbook." Cobb is only two years removed from posting 828 yards with three touchdowns for the Cowboys in 2019 and his reunion with Rodgers could rekindle his fantasy value in 2021.
