7 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was spotted by Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel wearing a walking boot on his right foot. Cobb is reportedly dealing with a mild ankle injury and he described the walking boot as temporary. Cobb did participate in organized team activities this offseason but has supposedly been dealing with this injury for a little over a month. At this point, there is little to no risk that he will miss Week 1. Still, he will likely get eased into things when training camp does start up later this summer. There has been some intrigue regarding the status of Cobb’s ankle. He refused to answer whether the ankle had required surgery and has not disclosed what the injury is. Regardless, Cobb will play a big role in Green Bay’s offense this year. His projected early absence in training camp could give younger wide receivers a chance to show what they can do in 2018.--Tyger McGuiggan
