Randy Arozarena Absent From Monday’s Lineup
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. He was initially in the lineup, but there was no injury reported, that it was just a mistake. Arozarena will get a routine day off after logging a hit in eight straight games. The 2020 ALCS has been on fire since August 1, slashing .467/.529/.867 with two home runs, six RBI, and five runs scored across 34 plate appearances. His next chance to return will be Tuesday against the Orioles. Brett Phillips replaces Arozarena in Monday's lineup, starting in right field and batting seventh. Phillips has homered twice and driven in nine runs over his last 10 plate appearances. The 27-year-old can be used as a streamer in most league formats while he's swinging a hot bat.
