Ranger Suarez Secures Save Versus Braves On Sunday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Ranger Suarez picked up his fourth save of the season on Sunday against the Braves. Aaron Nola was the story of the afternoon, but his 116th pitch of the game was hit for a homer with two outs in the ninth. This allowed Suarez to enter the game and the left-hander needed just four pitches to strike out Dansby Swanson and secure the save, much to the delight of his fantasy managers. Suarez is sporting a 1.14 ERA and a 0.81 WHIP to go with his four saves as he's emerged as the closer for the Phillies; he should be rostered in all fantasy leagues.
