Ranger Suarez Takes Loss Tuesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez fell to 2-1 in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Rangers. Suarez pitched 5 innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits (including two home runs) and two walks with three strikeouts. The 26-year-old has not gotten off to the start fantasy managers had hoped for after a solid 2021 season and now owns a 4.63 ERA with just 15 strikeouts and 10 walks over 23 1/3 IP this season. His next start will be a tough one against the Mets at home. Fantasy managers in shallower leagues may consider sitting him in this one given his slow start.
