4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo and designated hitter Willie Calhoun will rest on Tuesday versus the Oakland Athletics. Choo has really been in a slump with just three hits over his first 20 at-bats. Calhoun has also been stuck in a rut and only has one hit in 18 at-bats. Choo will be replaced by Adolis Garcia in left field and he will bat in the number eight spot. Rob Refsnyder will bat ninth and replace Calhoun as the designated hitter. The Rangers will need Choo and Calhoun to get hot if they plan to compete and the day is hopefully what they need. Garcia and Refsnyder could be ignored against left-hander Jesus Luzardo Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
