7 years agoThe Texas Rangers have told teams that they are willing to eat a big chunk of the money on outfielder Shin-Soo Choo's deal. He is due $7.5 million for the rest of this year and $21 million each of the next two years. That's hard to swallow since Choo isn't great on defense, despite the fact he's hitting .288/.400/.493 on the season. Most contenders in the American League already have the designated hitter spot locked down, too. The 36-year-old is a great asset to own in on-base percentage leagues, and his value could increase if he's dealt to a contender.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
