Rashaad Penny Expected To Miss Week 2
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (calf) is expected to miss Week 2 versus the Tennessee Titans. Penny reaggravated a prior calf injury in Week 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. Head coach Pete Carroll also mentioned that Penny could miss longer than just Week 2. The former San Diego State running back is now in his fourth year in the league, but he has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career and the 14 games he played in his rookie season remain highest amount to date with 10 in 2019 and 3 in 2020. With Penny sidelined, the Seahawks will look to DeeJay Dallas, Travis Homer and Alex Collins to back up Chris Carson. Managers looking to insure Carson should consider Dallas over Homer and Collins at the moment, but more should be figured out after Week 2. Managers can feel confident releasing Penny to the waiver wire.
