Rashaad Penny Will Have Larger Role In Week 11
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said running back Rashaad Penny will have a more significant role for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. "I'm really looking forward to Rashaad, really looking forward to seeing where he goes and contributes this week," Carroll said. "He's got a really good role for us, and we're anxious to see him get going. It's really his time to help us. As we go through the next couple of weeks, you'll see him continue to be a big part of it." Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) is expected to undergo season-ending neck surgery and has been ruled out for the season. Alex Collins will lead Seattle's backfield, but Penny could see an uptick in usage while Travis Homer handles third-down duties. The former first-round pick has been limited to three games this season due to a calf injury. With Carson out for the year, fantasy managers can roster Penny as a high-upside stash.
