7 years agoIn an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent cornerback Rashaan Melvin stated that he "wouldn't mind" re-signing with the team for the upcoming season. "I'm waiting to see exactly where we stand," said Melvin, "I know it's all positive... They told me they want me to be back." Melvin was a cornerstone of Indianapolis' defense in 2017, leading the Colts in interceptions and allowing a 60.3 passer rating in coverage before his season was cut short in December. With the departure of veteran cornerback Vontae Davis and the third highest salary cap space in the NFL, the Colts need to focus on building their young secondary around a talented player like Melvin.--TMax-12
