2 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Rashard Higgins played four seasons with quarterback Baker Mayfield in Cleveland before signing a one-year deal with the Panthers in March. Higgins mostly played in the slot with the Browns and had two solid seasons with Mayfield in 2018 and 2020, when he finished with almost 600 receiving yards and four touchdowns both years. The 27-year-old isn't a lock to make the roster, but his familiarity with Mayfield should help his cause. The Panthers have DJ Moore and Robby Anderson as their top two receivers, and the team is high on Terrace Marshall Jr. after he had a strong showing in offseason practices, so Higgins still has his work cut out for him in Carolina.
