3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin still has not scored a goal this season but did dish out three assists on Wednesday night. Sandin set up Pierre Engvall first, then Jason Spezza, and finally Michael Bunting. The final two helpers were primary assists on a night where Sandin had just one blocked shot and one shot on goal. The defenseman averages just a hair above a shot a game and peripherals have not been great. However, Sandin carries an upside while learning his craft as a third-pairing defenseman.
